CUET FAQs
Everything you need to know about the exam, syllabus, and our programs.
General Information
What is CUET and who conducts it?
CUET (Common University Entrance Test) is a national-level entrance exam conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for admission to undergraduate programs in Central, State, and Deemed Universities in India.
Are board marks completely irrelevant now?
No. While admission is primarily based on CUET scores, many universities specify minimum board marks (e.g., 50% or 60%) to be eligible to apply. Board results also act as tie-breakers in specific situations.
Exam Pattern & Syllabus
Is the exam online or offline?
The exam is typically a Computer-Based Test (CBT), but NTA introduced a hybrid mode recently, meaning subjects with a very high number of applicants might be conducted offline (OMR based) at testing centers.
Is the syllabus based on Class 11 or Class 12?
The domain subject syllabus is strictly based on the Class 12 NCERT curriculum only. Class 11 topics are not explicitly tested in Domain subjects, though foundational knowledge helps. The General Test covers up to Class 8 level math.
EPA Preparation Programs
Can I change from Online to Offline mode later?
Yes, students and parents can request a mode shift. You will only need to pay the difference in the fee amount to transition to the Offline Classroom program.
How many Mock Tests are provided?
We provide over 100+ CBT Mock Tests for 1-Year students and 40+ Mock Tests for Crash Course students. They utilize an exact replica of the NTA testing engine.
